Jayson1 went here today (09 May 2009)I called first, asked how much it was for 18 holes, the guy said 12 bucks… What a deal I thought, so my 7 friends and I went thinking it would be a good experience…. When what should have happened, was when I called him, I should have asked why it was $12 bucks… we get there and the parking lot was almost empty at 2pm on a Saturday… should have been a clue right? Well we go in to this beat up shanty of a building to find an old man in there alone, who wasn’t exactly polite. We pay, and next to the counter are these two large barrels of balls, I thought was weird because they were dirty, for sale. I ignored it thinking that maybe they were range balls (they don’t have a driving range either.) So we set out to play, when we notice there are only nine holes… not 18… so you have to play the whole thing twice…. Stupid. But we make the best of it and tee off… to find that the grass hasn’t been cut for the most part, there are weed s everywhere and white blooming flowers on the weeds. This is the only golf course that I have ever been to that when you hit your ball on the fairway, you can’t find it… (now I know where those big barrels of balls came from) Even when you finally get on the green, there is dead grass and divots everywhere. We still make the best of it until we got to hole four… then we gave up scoring, due to everyone losing about 5 balls each. We finally quit at hole 7… (There wasn’t even a fairway to hole 8) we went back to the “shanty” to ask for our money back, we were informed that they don’t do that. My suggestion is never even try this course. If you are a red neck, who likes throwing beer cans around, and losing every ball you hit, this might be the place for you… otherwise I suggest you save your money.
